    What is Mining?

Mining is the extraction of minerals and metals from earth. manganese, tantalum, cassiterite, copper, tin, nickel, bauxite (aluminium ore), iron ore, gold, silver, diamonds are just some of the examples of what is mined.

    Why Mine?

Mining is a money making business. Not only do mining companies prosper, but goverments make money from revenues, workers also receive benefits and income.

ore recoverd by mining include: metals, coal, oil shale, gemstones, limestones, diamension-stone, rock-stone, potash, gravel, and clay. Mining is required to obtain any material that cannot be grown through agricultural processes or created artificially in a laboratory or factory. Mining in a wider sense includes extraction of any non-renewable resource such as petroleum, natural-gas, or even water.

The nature of mining processes creates a potential negative impact on the environment both during the mining operations and for years after the mine closed.

hope you enjoyed my explanation about mining and you remember it!

This is for my o’s and x’s.
