On Wednesday 4th November we went on a trip to see Marion at Portreath Bakery and made our own mini pasties.
When we got there we saw all of the ingredients while we waited to wash our hands. Then we flattened our pastries and they went thorough a special machine to make them even flatter. After that, we put all of our ingredients in, we had: steak, swede, potatoes and butter then we folded them and crimped the ends shut. We also glazed them in a mix of egg and milk for protein, then stuck them in the oven. We waited and after 30 minutes our pasties were ready. It is safe to say we all enjoyed them! Thank you Marion!
